Members of Big Foot High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter participated in the Fall Stock Market game sponsored by the SIFMA Foundation. In this simulation, students were given $100,000 of fictitious money to invest live in the stock market. Big Foot High School junior, Ethan Valadez, was the national champion across all divisions (which includes the middle level, high school and collegiate divisions).
Here are the results of the High School Division:
- 1st Place: Ethan Valadez, Big Foot High School, $607,508.82 (a 499.0% growth ABOVE the S&P)
- 2nd Place: Methacton High School, Pennsylvania $166,836.77
- 3rd Place: Suncoast High School, Florida, $155,744.49
